All "Refurbished" spas have been CLEANED AND SANITIZED which includes both the spa shell surface and the plumbing lines. All spas are sold on a first come first serve basis. "Refurbished" hot tubs are available as both "Certified Refurbished" and "Non-Certified Refurbished". "Certified Refurbished" spas come with a 90 day parts warranty and "Non-Certified Refurbished" spas include no warranty. The primary difference is that a "Non-Certified Pre-Owned" spa has some or all of their internal plumbing covered with solid hardened foam (often referred to in the industry as "full foam spas"). Due to solid foam it is impossible to determine for certain that "Non-Certified Spas" do not have a slow hidden leak. "Certified Pre-Owned" spas utilize insulation practices that allow for easy inspection in the water testing process. For those considering the purchase of a "Non-Certified Spa" and would like to learn the process of correcting a leak on a spa that has hardened foam on the plumbing click fixing a full foam spa.
